From Hingurakgoda to Korea and beyond, the ministry has continued to serve Sri Lankans and people from many nations.
1991
Ministry in Hingurakgoda
The name Shelter of Comfort Christian Center was used from the beginning of the ministry in Hingurakgoda.
2002
A New Season
After handing over the church to Senior Pastor Sunil Siriwardana and separating, the ministry continued under the same name.
2011
Journey to Korea
The ministry journey expanded to Korea. Pastor Lakpriya has faithfully accompanied this journey since 2011.
2012
Trust Registration and Highway Vision
“Shelter of Comfort Christian Center – Trust” was registered on January 22, 2012. In the same year, the Highway Vision was received through the first disciple, Senaka Rajaratne.
2013
International Ministry in Gimpo
The first ministry for Sri Lankan people began in Gimpo. The ministry also reached people from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Vietnam, and other nations.
The Highway Vision
Eight Lanes. Many Nations. One Foundation.
The dream given to Senaka Rajaratne revealed an eight-lane highway being built with the participation of many nations.
The purpose of this Highway is to lead people who are in darkness quickly into the light. The foundation of that light is Jesus Christ.
Based on the prophetic word in Isaiah, the Highway represents a process of forming beloved children, disciples, and sons of God whose lives align with the character of Christ—the Light revealed in the New Testament.
